The Date Crawl — Entry Rules

1. Who Can Participate

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

• Participants must register for the dating preference/matching category that accurately reflects who they are seeking to date.

• Participants must provide accurate information during registration, including age and contact information.

• The Date Crawl reserves the right to verify participant information when reasonably necessary to maintain a safe and authentic dating environment.

2. Registration & Matching

• Each participant receives a unique participant number.

• Participants are placed into an appropriate age/matching group based on registration information and event capacity.

• Matching is organized by The Date Crawl. Participants cannot request a specific person for a particular date.

• Every effort will be made to provide three different dates during the event.

• A specific pairing or three-date experience is not guaranteed if attendance changes or circumstances require adjustments.

3. Arrival

• Participants must arrive at the designated meeting location by the stated check-in time.

• Late arrival may result in missed dates or reassignment.

• Participants must check in personally. Tickets cannot be transferred without prior approval from The Date Crawl.

4. The Three Dates

• Each participant will receive instructions for each date in a sealed envelope or through the designated Date Crawl system.

• Participants must follow the date instructions and arrive at the assigned location on time.

• Each date is intended to be a casual opportunity to meet and get to know another participant.

• Participants are responsible for their own food, drinks, transportation, activity fees, and personal expenses unless specifically stated otherwise.

• Participants may leave a date at any time if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

• Participants must not intentionally interfere with another participant’s date.

5. Respect & Conduct

• Treat every participant with respect and courtesy.

• No harassment, intimidation, threats, discrimination, unwanted touching, or aggressive behavior.

• Respect personal boundaries and consent at all times.

• No participant is required to continue a conversation, activity, or interaction they do not want to continue.

• Do not pressure another participant for their phone number, social media, address, or other personal information.

• Do not follow or pursue another participant after they have clearly indicated that they are not interested.

• The Date Crawl may remove anyone whose behavior creates a safety or comfort concern.

6. Alcohol & Drugs

• Participants must comply with all applicable laws regarding alcohol and controlled substances.

• Intoxication that interferes with the event or creates a safety concern may result in removal.

• Participants are responsible for their own conduct and transportation.

7. Privacy

• Do not photograph, record, livestream, or publicly post another participant without their permission.

• Do not share another participant’s personal information with others without their consent.

• Participant information provided for matching and event administration will be handled according to The Date Crawl’s privacy policy.

8. Safety

• Participants should meet dates only at the assigned public locations.

• Participants should use their own judgment and may leave an interaction at any time.

• Report safety concerns or inappropriate behavior to The Date Crawl as soon as possible.

• The Date Crawl does not guarantee romantic compatibility or a particular outcome from any date.

9. Mutual Matches

• After the event, participants may indicate which people they would like to see again.

• Contact information or a connection will be shared only when the applicable matching process results in a mutual match and the participant has agreed to participate in that process.

• A mutual match does not guarantee a relationship or continued communication.

10. Removal From the Event

The Date Crawl may immediately remove a participant for:

• Harassment or threatening behavior

• Non-consensual physical contact

• Providing materially false registration information

• Intentionally disrupting the event

• Refusing to follow reasonable event instructions

• Behavior that creates a safety concern for another participant or the public

By purchasing or accepting entry to The Date Crawl, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to follow these rules.
